JL Stealthbox alternatives?

Hi - is anyone making an alternative, off the shelf side-mount sub box for the 6th Gen that you know of?

Cheers

I've started building my own. Without taking out the side partition the box comes in right at 1 cu ft. I was hoping for more cu ft than that as you will lose a little bit of space with it. But it is as easy as throwing it in and using velcro or something to secure it.

I'm going to make another one and get rid of the partition and see how much space it will have.

I had one similar custom built for my vert before the stealth box was out for the coups. I currently have a 10" Alpine type R in there with an Alpine PDX-M12 amp running it. Sounds pretty good. I am going to be changing it to a Hertz Mille Legend very soon. But I have not seen anthing for the side other than the JL. In my experience with the JL stealthboxes they are worth the $$

******** makes two versions: 10” and 12”. I run the 10” with a JL 10W6v3 sub and JL XD600-1v2 amp. You must use a Bose sound cancelling defeat cable to eliminate unwanted feedback, but it sounds great. Planning to add a other JL XD500/2 and high quality deck speakers to complete the system.

What is the airspace on that enclosure? I got a w6v2 sitting in my garage, and I just replaced the foam surround, so it's fresh. Also, how much do you think it weighs? I may pick up that single 10" enclosure. Where did you order it?

That is a 2 cu ft box that weighs a little over 25 lbs. You can find it here: https://tinyurl.com/yxls9vxw

The entire assembly; box, speaker, & amp probably weighs 50lbs max. Personally I don't care about an extra 50 lbs as its in the noise for power to weight on a strong ZL1.
