After ordering a 2SS 1LE in mid February and finding out just about an hour ago from Joe's ordering thread that it would be July/Aug before delivery, I am going to cancel. Why get a almost 2 year old model car years wise when the 2022's will be made. And this is only if there are no more hic ups. I did not have to put a deposit down so I will not have to fight to get it back. Is anyone else going to do the same or already done so? Just curious how the dealerships reacted. I know they would surely be able to move it when it arrived anyway.

I am most likely doing the same thing with my order. I ordered the beginning of February and put a 1000 down via CC. I am going to offer to flip my order to a truck to see if that smooths things over. I need a car sooner than it will be delivered.

I ordered my 2020 SS 1LE in Dec 2019. It was built in March 2020 and never got to see it until July 2020. It was a very long wait. Felt like I didn’t get to drive it much before having to put it up for the winter.

So I sympathize.

At this rate I'll be ordering winter tires with the car!
