Is this vandalism or bad luck?....
Anyone ever seen this? I parked in front of a star bucks to get some tacos.. come back out and as soon as I roll forward it felt like I hit something.. as I started driving it sounded like metal was in the tire and finally one of my tires gave out and I pulled over... turns out I have what looks like vehicle caltrops in all 4 of my pilot sport 4S’s... all 4... anyone ever experienced this before? Really sucks lol.

Yeah for sure. I know what caltrops are and that's what that is. Who would carry caltrops with them......somebody has some issues.

If it's any consolation, it looks like you were due for new tires anyhow....In the future, I would start to doing a circle around the car and take a look before driving off. Good luck.

My front tires were going to be replaced next weekend so I wasn’t too concerned... but I just replaced my rears 2000 miles ago, like 2 months ago.. ouch lol
Yea I’m gonna see if they have any cctv cams in the plaza and file a police report.. idk if this is worth trying to get State Farm to cover as vandalism if my rates will go up?... What really blows is I just had the alternator go on my Corolla last week.. making AAA work this week lmao |
