Borla Axle-Back Exhaust Tip Selection

I have settled on the Borla S-Type axle back exhaust for my 2020 LT1.

My question for you guys is, do any of you have the ceramic black or carbon fiber tips, and if so, how well do they hold up over time?

My car is “Red Hot”, and eventually I plan on swapping out the silver wheels for black, and I think the black tips would look much nicer with that combo than the stainless tips.

My only concern is how they hold up over time (black fading, CF peeling, etc). I feel like the natural stainless will hold up much better long term, and can be polished.

Thoughts?

i just had my Borla S-type with carbon fiber tips installed today, and they look outstanding. Can't speak to how long they'll last, but hopefully for many years. They sound aaaaawesome, though!

the tips will sick out more then stock. depends on how you mount them with the directions. also probably doesn't help that im up close to it at that angle.

Thank you, so there is room to push them in and make them flush with the rear diffuser?

A box full of happiness arrived yesterday!

Looking forward to getting it installed so that this car actually sounds like it has 455 horsepower!
