5 months with no driving , I do start it on days of -5 or above and let her run for 20 min to keep the battery charged. Only good part is the down time to stock pile parts to install this spring

I think about 5 or 6 weeks was the most. I do take mine out in winter if its dry everywhere and give it a good run. Put maybe 20-30 miles on it when doing this so everything gets warm and moisture is dispersed.
Its been parked since Boxing Day and no good weather to drive it in yet so I would expect a few more weeks at least before I can give her a stretch again. |

November into April, no start, no battery tender. She fired up without any lag, no backtalk. She was just ready to play!

Don't start mine all winter 5 months. I don't run mine because it will cause a lot of moisture when you shut it off. Then comes the rust.
But you do what you think is right. Never used battery tender. Battery lasted 5 yrs.

Like most say. Let it sit. Starting it up without driving it for 20-30 minutes is a BAD idea. Also the trickle charger is just something for the product pushers to sell you imo. Batteries only last 5-6 years anyway.
