Had a Honda van pull up next to me at a light,driver was about 45.. He looked at the Camaro and then me(I'm 59 years old), next thing I got was "your too old for that!! Is that your retirement present?? I said no, "I bought this to pick up chicks your daughters age" He flipped me off!!!

What in the hell is wrong with people any more???

haha, that's funny. The guy was just on his soap box because he had his manlyhood removed years ago when he started driving minivans. He forgot what fun it was to have a nice car.

Amazing response. You should of added "Does your wife keep your balls in her purse?" Thats what my friend says whenever he gets a snotty remark from a older person haha.

Simply jealousy. As you can see from my signature, I'm currently driving a non-Camaro....

It didn't take long to figure out the REAL meaning of the oft-asked question I kept getting from Honda and Toyota drivers while we were refueling: "So, what's your gas mileage in 'that thing'?" Pure jealousy on their part that I wasn't driving some uber-dull cookie cutter. I happily and enthusiastically respond with, "Who cares? It's an awesome, exciting car!" That's when the conversation ends. I figure, F them, their intent is to simply crap on my good time and "people" like that don't actually deserve any response.

Besides, I'm driving something rated at 15/23 City/Highway that actually gets 18/27 consistently. Out or curiosity from a probable future Camaro owner - are you guys seeing that the rating on the window sticker is also on the conservative side? I suspect that's the case because my last few new vehicles were also conservative in their ratings.
