I picked the cloth, just got my car 3-23-12 I looked at a few used ones with leather with under 10k miles and it was all wrinkled up I just added the guages, and boston acoustics to a 1ss/rs,also painted engine cover, polished wheels IOM Car is awesome, even though i only put 12 miles on it I just like to go in garage and stare at it LOL

I like cloth. I have had several cars with leather and only like the heated seat functionality of leather seats versus cloth. I like cloth because it can take wear a little better. Most leather seats start looking pretty bad after a few years. I tend to keep cars until they die; therefore, I will have leather seats until they are cracked and breaking. Cloth seats are not hot in the summer and not cold in the winter.

I like leather. I have never gotten a static shock from my Camaro, my pickup with cloth seats shocks me every time.

I prefer cloth.

It's hot in Houston and leather seats will roast your ass in the summer. My 2SS/RS has leather, but its a sacrifice I can live with for a weekend warrior.

My Taurus SHO has leather with suede inserts and COOLED seats. That's the best so far IMO.

Cloth hands down! I hate leather bc its stiff and hurts my back (even broke in leather) and in summer, I wear short shorts or my bikini and there is nothing worse then getting a hot car and burning ur ass or having ur skin stuck to the seat when you get out. No thx. Love my cloth seats!

Suede!!!

But between cloth and leather, I PREFER cloth, yet almost every car/truck I've owned has had leather ... not by choice! (well, and it's not even an option in the Corvette!).

My Dad's '00 Sierra, over 12 years old and over ~200k miles (~330k kms) has cloth seats, and they're still MINT. Unfortunately, GM's crappy quality of leather just DOESN'T last that long ... it's more like pleather IMO .

HEATED leather is a must, up here in Canada, but in the hot summer sun, it burns. And I agree, nice that it's easier to keep clean, and LOOKS nice when new, but that's about where my attraction to leather ends.

I'm now looking at getting a 5th-gen, and while I would PREFER to get cloth, something tells me I'll probably end up with leather again anyways?!
