Anybody has or getting one? - Opinions?

I have one on order. Will be produced next week 8/24. I was looking at ZL1's but when they announced the SS 1LE package in Auto I knew I wanted it. To be honest, I am sick and tired of shifting. I know the save the manual folks will have lots to say about that but I dont care. It's my opinion. Every damn muscle car I have owned has been a manual. I am moving on to Auto and I cant wait.

You wont hear that from me, I love the fact they are offering the A10, and love the fact people are buying them up.

I am a manual guy myself, but hope one day when that changes that I can find a car as awesome as the 1LE in an automatic.

I see you ordered your new one if the same color, you must really love that red.

I am giving serious thought to buying a red 1LE, my first red car, and I think it may be that new Cherry Red color. Seems like a nice middle ground between red hot and garnet red. Cant wait to see it on a 1LE.

Lol Yes I do love the red. I was going to order the wild cherry color and decided I couldn't do it. I LOVE the 1LE package in red. The black accents just make it stand out against anything. I had to go with Red Hot again. Wild Cherry will be great color I'm sure.

I also totally agree, very happy to see them give a choice on 1LE, manual or auto, that will give 'em a few extra sales. Good on Chevy. I am manual all the way, but as I age I might change my mind.....not likely, but maybe!

I'm glad they offer it so more people can enjoy it. I almost debated thinking about it at one point.


But in all honesty I got screwed buying a 02 new w/ stick, and then again on GTOs, this will be my first $$$$ toy new car for myself, so stick it will be.

The A10 SS 1LE is going to be a beast. No issues from me.

I will say it would be great to get the stronger/more performance shifting oriented 10L90 from the ZL1 instead of the 10L80 from the SS, but I don't know of that being the case. I enjoy having the M6, but am glad a A10 will be offered.

He really does! I remember drooling over the Rally Green 1LE photos he posted, and thanks to him I know what the Wild Cherry color looks like. Amazing how well he takes the photos, as close to real world view as I have seen.

I appreciate the compliments. I always try to take good pics when it comes to cars. Sometimes it takes some editing to get them to show the colors accurately. Taking car pics is something I've enjoyed since I could drive.
