Whats up fellas,

I've wanted a 1LE for years, but have been out of the sports car game (Numerous Viper/Corvette builds), due to my Bull Mastiff and St Bernard. I've been doing ridiculously expensive Jeep builds for the last 10 years because of the dogs, but am going back to the performance world. I've been looking for a 1LE for 3 months, but these scumbag dealers want so much over sticker, I started looking at used.

I found a 2023 with 5700 miles up in Tampa, and drove it home Friday night. It's red, which I'm not a fan of, so it will be wrapped a Matte Pearl white on a couple of weeks. Someone has been into the car already and took the goodyears off, and put Falken Azenis tires on it. They also have a K&N and catch can on it, as well as it looks like the camber has been played with.

I have 325/345 R888rs going on tomorrow as well. I am looking for a satin black set of SM10rs, but they are back ordered with Apex, does anyone know of a vendor that would possibly have them in stock?

On a side note, and I know this will sound off, but this car does not feel fast to me. Of course my daily is a 2023 XM4 Comp with intake, tune and exhaust, which is blindly fast! I will be taking this car to Florida high performance for most likely a heads/cam xport set up. I have only put a couple hundred miles on this car, I'm in love!!!!!!

When I ordered my Satin Black Apex VS-5RS for my ZLE they were also backordered.
I just ordered them and waited.

What does the BMW X3M Completion run at the Nurburgring?
The 6 speed manual ZLE ran 7:16 way back in 2017.

I don't believe apex wheels sell to any vendors, it's direct to consumer from them. You can try looking for some used apex wheels within the classifieds here though.

Nurburgring It's a 10 sec SUV I bought for my Costco runs, and extremely fast one at that. If you want to get technical on the 1LE's ring time, per Al Oppenheiser, its an unofficial 7:13!

Occasionally the supercharger coolant line isn't bled properly and has air in the line, causing power reduction and power issues. Bleed the s/c coolant line and check again.

Some people get sore if you bring up the unofficial 7:13.

Take it on the track before you do your upgrades, I bet you will find it is fast.

I am going to have Florida High performance go through the entire car, they will be bleeding the coolant for sure (I know this has been an issue from the factory). Put the 325/345 R888R combo on today. These tires sound like some of my Jeeps mud tires. I can already tell this is going to be one of my all time favorite cars!

The facts are the facts, this car is an unbelievable capable, Oppenheimer and his team are wizards! The day I saw Randy Pobst and Johnny Lieberman on Ignition (Chevy sharpness its lead pipe). I was SOLD!

Yes, nobody will understand this vehicle until you take it on the track! I don’t care if it’s a 4,6,8 SS or zl1 it is really not the engine. It’s the chassis.

Absolutely!! The Alpha chassis really is something else!!!! The 150k ZO6 is just out of my comfortable price range and I knew I wouldn't be happy with a base C8. I really wanted a race car for the Street/Track, which is exactly what I got. The 74k I paid is a bargain.

I can't wait to mod it. I have seen "Journalist" complaining about the ride, the ride is outstanding in my opinion! I have been ruining the suspension travel on my street driven Corvettes for years, putting them on the ground. I finally have a car I dont have to touch outside of adjusting the coil overs with a track alignment. This rides almost as good as a Viper with Moton Coilovers.
