Why is my Camaro SS so powerful?

Isn’t this abnormal? All Stock besides the tune and custom vacuum house reroute. Pump 91 AZ gas. Also have silicone intake pipe. Please advise.

Are you the original owner? If not, you can’t say 100% certain it is stock. It may have been modded. Engine cover is missing, why?

Assuming your car is stock, the dyno is not calibrated.

Dynocomp is the most generous dyno out of all. One way to test it is do some 0-60 and quarter mile runs see if the dyno results match the reality.

No vehicle identifiers on performance data sheet? Random data sheet + random engine pic is not much evidence of anything except likely provocation.

Why are you asking a question like that anyway? It is an SS that has had some mods done correct? Like someone replied, I would be more concerned about the low coolant in the top reservoir.

First thing that came to my mind when I saw the missing engine cover was LT2 intake.

Have your tuner check to see if it's been tuned. I suspect this car was formerly modded and was returned to as close to stock as possible before being sold. I'll wager the car still has a tune, and possibly a few more hidden mods. The aftermarket elbow connected to the oem CAI is odd. Nothing wrong with that, but it's just not normally done.

Just looking at reported 460 vs rated 455 HP, that's 1% error.
That's actually quite excellent from everything I read about dynos.

455 HP is rated at the flywheel, not the rear wheel… Stock LT1’s are going to put down in the ball park of 380 - 420 HP on a dyno depending on the dyno and cars transmission.

Looks like your dyno shop knows that if they inflate their numbers, more people will come in to polish up their egos...

The best shops give you the real numbers, even if it's a lower number than you're expecting.

excellent point.
then it's ~10% error.
still think it's a dyno problem and not a super-duper extra powerful car problem.
