Android Auto
So I have a Galaxy S9 and Android Auto in my 2016 SS. When I plug the USB into by phone it will not change the Android Auto App on the head unit to "Projection" to use Android Auto. I have the same phone, same USB cable in my '18 Tahoe and everything works fine.
Any Ideas? |

There is a setting that allows you to select between iPhone and android phones, I can’t recall where that is but you can prob find it if you search the various menu options

if you don't have the option, at one time, it was flashable for free at the dealer. |

I got it to work... So I cleared the Cache/Data on my phone for the Android App. I also removed all the devices from the Head Unit. (Started From Scratch). This time though I actually started the car and not just had it in Aux. So I don't know if it was actually because the car was running or because of the things I did on the phone. Either way.. It's working Thx |

Android auto is very buggy on my 2016. Sometimes it works great and other times i want to throw my phone out the window because the car will not recognize it.
