I had an issue last year where someone slashed my top and kicked dents into my passenger door and rear panel. I've got it all fixed up now. I'm starting to look into camera's, etc. for some peace of mind. I was thinking about the Blackvue 900S 2Ch IR. I was hoping it would have enough field of view and IR to see someone monkeying around with the vert top at night. Does anyone know if this would work, or is there a better solution?

Sorry to hear about your pain, some people have zero respect for others' property

As to the Blackvue, only the interior cam in that combo is infrared, and I don't think you'll have enough visibility through the windows to capture a perp that is damaging your car from the outside.

I have the "regular" 4K version of the 900S 2CH, and unless the car is parked in a reasonably well lit space, you won't get a good read on people passing in front of or behind the car in the dark, even with night vision.
