Service side detection
Is there a way to turn off this side collision warning off?...In my settings where there is the collision settings I only show Park Assist...I had the side collision detection system fixed by my dealer 2 years ago but the fix only lasted about year...then I get the message across my instrument panel and I have to dismiss every time I start my 2017 LT2....very annoying.

I don't think you can turn it off easily.
Do you know what part of it is not working? If so, you might be able to fool the system. pretty sure all the little radar sensors in the bumper cover and the led indicators in the mirrors have to look like they are fine, or the system will report an error. |

OBD reader and a phone app might help you to at least collect more meaningful data as to what the complaint message is really trying to tell you.
