Who's running headers with cats

I'm thinking about headers but I don't wanna ditch my cats, what is the best way to go here? I already know it's best to get rid of them because they can melt but i drive my car maybe 2000 miles a year and i don't track it so I'm not too worried about it. I have borla catback and p1sc was thinking kooks with green cats?

If you want to run cats, stock are the best. I'd just stick with your factory manifolds and front cats unless you're over 750-800 wheel.

Got Kooks long tube headers with high flow cats so I could pass emissions in my county. No problems sounds great with AWE cat back.

2" KOOKS with Green Cats here. Followed by AWE non-resonated Track Edition cat-back. Sounds awesome!

I did last year till they melted down at the Camaro Fest, they were aftermarket. Factory cats are the best but no way to run long tubes with them.

Couldn't you run longtubes with custom made connection pipes to the secondary cats? I don't run longtubes and don't have secondary cats so this is just a thought and an actual question. Or if you wanted to get real crazy you could cut the pipes off of the primary cats and have them welded in custom pipes after the longtubes?

I think the green cats are the high end GESI ones and the high flow are maybe generic ones.

Yep. Unless you buy cats specifically marketed for forced induction, you’ll end up with generic “high flow” ones, and they will not stand up long term. Cats that can handle boost cannot be made cheaply due to the precious metals involved in making them.
