Heads up display not visible

Feeling pretty good getting the 50th SS out of the garage after a long winter. Its It's a sunny late Aprill day, i fire it upand realize the heads up display is not visible!
No matter what i pressed or adjusted all i saw was a very faint image.
I am starting to get concerned so i get the owners manual out . I take my nice polarized sunglasses off to read it and right in front me was a very clear and bright
Display!!!!
Lesson learned?
Certain polarized lenses will filter the display to the point where you may not see it
☺☺

I came here to make a joke about taking off your glasses, but turns out that's what it was.

my sunglasses have a green tint which naturally turns the HUD to green (but its a little more difficult to read)

Wow, nice to know. I bought some cheap shades so no problems there.

I bought a pair of non polarized Ray Ban's just for the Camaro and the HUD.

It's amusing to me that my $20 amazon glasses cause the HUD in the 6th gen to be barely visible. In my 5th, they weren't an issue at all.
