Maybe I'm ignorant, but I doubt they'll be highly sought after collector cars. If you drive it, the value diminishes and you'll wish you had spent the money on a new one. It's not worth $20k. $30k is laughable. I could buy an older muscle car in fantastic shape for $30k.

Only defect was sagging headliner. Go figure.

I have an 85 in storage. My MIL bought it new off the showroom floor. Got put away in 2001 and left for dead. She called me up one day and said it's gotta go the farm it was stored t had been sold. So if I wanted it I had to come get it (12 hour round trip)
one owner care with 43k on the dial. One day it'll be back on the road. |

I don't know that I would give 32K for the black '85 IROC that had 4.3 miles, the one stuffed in a trailer for decades. It now has just under 10 miles and is now in some auto museum.

I've said it before. That era Camaro did NOTHING for me. As pristine as that car is, it is just as dated as the pastel leisure suits that Sonny Crockett wore in Miami Vice. But a good post none the less!

I don`t care how cherry this IROC is at almost $33,000 I`ll pass, I`m not that desperate for a 305 cubic inch TPI rated at 215 hp.

I know a friend that still has his 1984 Iroc. Don't know if he's ever sell it, but I do know it need a new engine wiring harness due to hungry little creatures.

I wouldn't pay more than $15K for any car made in 80's.
