Maybe I shouldn't have traded my truck for an SS as a DD

Have to be at work in 8 hours... Yikes. I don't even think Blizzaks would help me out here. I hope the cabs in Philly have chains on their tires!

Haha yes, a rare few DO live in Dela(where??) and it is also a rare occurrence here. It figures I sell my truck the one year we get a horrible winter here. She's sporting an unimpressed smile...

Shouldn't be an issue, nobody in PA does more than 15mph in the snow anyways .

I live in Toronto...its been a brutal winter already...but I dont even have snows on my SS and it's my DD also...never once have I gotten stuck even in the biggest dumpings ive been able to get around.

Throttle control and use your brain, it goes a long way!

I had an '09 F150 that I loved to death but finally this past summer after 2 winters with less than 2" of snow, decided to risk it and trade it in on an '11 SS. Murphy's law of course... We haven't seen this much white stuff in Philly/Delaware in ages!!

Haha thanks Captain Phaneuf but these parts of the country aren't ready for a storm like this... I'm sure you guys have plows and salt up there out the wazoo to compensate for the snow but we aren't ready for it. That being said, Lupul is the f*ckin man... If you don't follow hockey I'm sorry for the reference...

Good ones! Totally follow hockey, its been my favourite sport since...ever? lol

As for you saying you guys aren't ready for the white stuff...thats hard to believe? I havent spent much time in Delaware personally, but I know that NYC, Newark, Philly and DC and all that surrounding area definitely get snow throughout the winter, so how exactly is everyone so stunned and un-prepaired for the winter?

Yea we salt and plow whenever it snows, but we still get hammered with the weather up here and it makes for some questionable at best driving conditions lol.

We have over a foot here. I'm waiting for a plow to clear the area I'm in and then it's off to my parents' to shovel, and then off to work.
