Maggy guys... can you verify something for me.

I have the SLP jackshaft style supercharger which is basically a Magnuson with a different styled housing. Anyways, I'm going to be changing from the stock 3.8 pulley to a 3.6. My question is this. Do I need to buy a new belt or will the one I'm using for the 3.8 work? I have been told from several people that I can use the same belt that I'm using with my 3.8, but it all comes down to adjusting the tensioner. Can someone confirm this who has made the same swap?

I'm betting if you are still 6 rib your old belt is stretched anyway. I would get 2. A new one the same size and one the next size down. Return the one you didn't use.

If I remember correctly (way back when) the belt is the same.

.... Same belt size, throw your old belt in your trunk as a spare; adjust idler pulley.
