CME Exhaust Changed to Normal Catback?

I found myself a nice 4th Gen SS for sale but it has the CME exhaust. That said how can I change the rear bumper if I want to remove the CME and add a NORMAL cat-back exhaust like a GMMG ?

Again, how can I change the rear bumper fascia or extended plastic if I want to remove the Center Mounted exhaust and add a NORMAL cat-back exhaust like a GMMG .... ?

It's a question.

Is the Center Mount system considered a step up over a normal cat back?

I can always add a GMMG then weld it to the center mount outlets.

I can actually lol

First off . . . why why why ****ing why would you want to remove a sought after option?
That being said, all it is is just a urathayne valance with angled pipes to connect to the center mount exhaust tips.
Don’t waste your money on GMMG exhaust, just go with Sweet Thunder Chambered Exhaust. It’s the same thing for less money.

Don't you just remove the bottom CME valance and that should be it to go back to normal dual exhaust?

Very simple but where the original bumper and the CME match up you may have some paint rub.. it's usually a few screws under side and double back taped to the bumper .. some I've seen on the corner bottom had plastic rivets. either way a Pretty easy removal. then just add standard tail pipes to existing muffler . And lastly sell me your CME stuff 😉
I did mine but blended the valance into the bumper ..

Clips and adhesive hold the valence in place. Carefully remove it, and then you can change your catback.

I didn't like the CME when I ordered mine, but later I saw how good they looked. I wouldn't change an original CME if it came with the car, but that was part of the reasoning why I never put a CME on my 4th gen; I'm a stickler for originality and all of it is a matter of taste.

You can sell your CME for good money if you really do not like it.

I think the CME exhaust looks very nice with the bumper like that looks different and unique from all the other Camaro’s out there. When we had our 2002 Camaro SS we never did this mod though.
