I put the ZL1/ 1LE Sway Bars on my 2SS

I secured a set of the ZL1/1LE Sway Bars from ThatGMPartsGuy, I did the install today and will report back how different the car feels tomorrow. Unfortunately it was raining pretty good today to do any sort of real testing.

The install was simple, but I quickly realized the set I got was for non-MRC equipped cars, so I didn't need the Links as my car already had them.

I am putting together the install guide and a quick review of how these bars change theverything feeling of the car in situations that actually make use of the Sway bars.

BTW those aren't end links in the kit, they're front lower control arms...

So MRC cars already have the same LCA as the 1LE?

EDIT: I was looking at another thread and it sounds like it's the bushing material on the LCA that is different in the parts included in the kit. Are you sure they are the same as what you had in your car? They may just look the same.

My guess is the bushing/bearings are upgraded in this kit and is the same actual LCA. Just like how BMR offers upgraded front end LCA and Radius rod bushing/bearing kits...

Plus the wall thicknesses for any bar that is not solid.

Be best with the two front bars pictured together and the two rear bars pictured together. Overall shapes and in particular the 'arm' lengths matter.

SS 1LE / ZL1, non-MRC...?

And the other comments are right, the lower link has a spherical joint rather a bushing.

GM calls them Links in the guide and via part number. So I went with what they called them.

Neither of those companies have tested their components on anything other than a SS with 455hp.

How's the car with the new parts? Very noticeable improvement?

They are in fact more properly called 'links', most likely because they have exactly two pivots, one at each end. This probably sounds picky when most DIY'ers call just about every suspension arm or link an arm, but it's technically correct to call these things links.

They just aren't "endlinks".
