BMR Suspension Hard at Work on the 6th Gen!
Many of you may already know, and for those who do not - we (BMR) are always on the forefront of providing quality Suspension and Chassis components for early and late model GM and Ford performance vehicles.
We acquired our 2016 Camaro SS (2SS) a few weeks back, and have been hard at work at bringing parts to the market. Now that we are back from showing those prototypes off at the PRI Show in Indy last week, we now start the rigorous testing process. I hope to be offering many components before the end of Q1 of 2016. Now, on to some BMR Beauty. More to come! Thanks for looking. 2016 is going to be SWEET! |

I can tell you what I would want to have... a screen or some kind of protector that protects those radiators from damage due to hitting cones while autoxing and running over cones... if you've autoxed, you'd know what I mean. Also curious what effect snow may have on these, if blocked. Last edited by Imp; 12-15-2015 at 12:23 PM. |

I'm on the fence of buying a 6th gen camaro, and thinking of getting a CTS Vsport instead. Since they are both Alpha chassis cars, and use the same components, do you guys think that the parts you developed can be installed on the CTS, and ATS platform?

I've already done the springs on my 15. Did all the sways on my old g8gt. They build some good stuff. I'll be doing their springs on my 16 I have ordered. Hopefully they'll have them ready when mine comes in sometime in February

Question for BMR: You said "Now that we are back from showing those prototypes off at the PRI Show in Indy last week, we now start the rigorous testing process". How do you test your parts? Are they track tested? Please describe "the rigorous testing process".

Quote:
The primary tracks we test at are Sebring, which is the faster track....and the FIRM in North Florida, which is a tighter track. Many people like to validate their decision to use our components based on whether we have a race team, or have hundreds of logs and data from road courses. Well, we do not. We take our many cars to road courses and drag strips on a regular basis, and have fun beating on them as far as our ability will let us. We do keep logs of our lap times, tire temps, etc. But we are not racing in sanctions, or trying to win championships - we are too busy for that. On the road courses, we typically use Hoosier R7s on a 10-11" wheel on all 4 corners. On drag strips we usually use a tire like a MT Drag Radial that puts excessive impulse and shock loads on components. To end, when I say test - we do not test every single part for the performance benefit it provides. Some yes, others no. Our testing is daily use and track abuse, to ensure the consumer gets the value from the product. I have been asked many times, "can you provide before and after times and data?" - and the answer is, we really do not have to prove that 95 duro Poly, Delrin, Aluminum or Spherical Bearings will outperform rubber. Or that .120" wall DOM tubing will deflect less than .083" wall stamped steel. Those are knowns. Thanks! |
