I saw it posted on either this forum or another as being May 24th ... But it also said approx and subject to change ... So real soon?

I ordered in the 25th, it got into the system on the 27th ... I have an order number but haven't checked to get a status code yet.

Status Code 1100 (Order Entered into System) is where it should be currently.

It needs to be 2000 (Order Accepted by Chevrolet) to make sure it will be built.

So I'm a new member of this forum and Club Hot Wheels. Long story somewhat short. I've had my eyes on a ZL1 since they came out. Saw the Hot Wheels at the North American Auto Show, thought it was incredible. Why they don't offer it in ZL1 trim is mind boggling to me.
After asking some hard questions of whether I really needed 650 HP, the added fuel costs, insurance(especially since I have a 16yr old about to start driving) tire costs all for a daily driver. I decided I would be happy with a regular SS. It just happened that a dealership had the Hot Wheels sitting on the lot, figured it was meant to be and bought it.

A8, NPP, Nav, Sunroof, Mag Ride. It sounds good, looks better. The Orange interior accents are killer. I'm happy.

Congrats.....I had the same dilemma. Still long for a ZL1.....but maybe later. The Crush color is being offered in 2019. Was thinking about maybe just getting both if my wife would allow it.

Enjoy...

So ... GM Live Chat tells me there is no information available on my order?
How is this possible if I have an order number? ... now I'm wondering even more what's going on and where my order MIGHT be?

If they haven’t submitted it, it won’t show on the other end. Each dealer has different practices on ordering. Some submit the order as soon as it is generated. Others wait for the system to auto finalize at the end of the order window (Tuesday). Each order cycle runs Thurs to Tuesday.

Check again tomorrow to see if it shows anything. Otherwise call and ask for the sales manager and have them check your order status. If current status is 1000 it’s in holding to finalize. If it’s 0000, then it’s a pattern/Test order and won’t go anywhere.

When I bought mine they told me a rebate was not available that day, they forgot to remove it, "but we honor our advertised price so that is what you pay".

2SS in Dover, NJ. Undeniably beautiful even though not my type with its dominant orange color. I loved the embossed Camaro emblem in the leather headrest, hadn't known about that one and it's an excellent touch.

I'm trying to figure out all the short codes (in signatures) ... is there a list somewhere? I've got most of them, just a couple I don't understand:

6M - 6 speed manual
8A - 8 speed automatic
MRC - Magnetic Ride Control
Nav - Navigation (GPS)
NPP - ?
RVK - ?

NPP is the Regular Production Option (RPO) code for Dual Mode Exhaust. GM uses a lot of RPO codes as model or trim designations. ZL1 started as an RPO code for a performance package and is now a model. Same with Z/28. The 1LE trim package available on LS, LT, SS, and ZL1 models has a similar history.

There is also HUD (Heads Up Display)
