Seat Comfort

Quick question - since I might be buying sight unseen! How does the seating fit and comfort compare to an SS?

I'm not exactly fat, but could stand to loose a few pounds . . .

Thanks!
Mark

6' 1" and +260 pounds, 40" waist, big frame..... The Recaro's vs. the 2ss seats..... The Recaro's capture you more with the larger bolsters..... no issues with comfort with either seat..... Recaro's seem more comfortable to me.... its all in the adjustment!

I bought mine, signed paper work and they we're congratulating me... I sat by azz in the seat for the 1st time and was like DAMN!, I need to loose a couple pounds!

After some time, they are great! Still working on the couple pounds tho!

I have had Recaros before in my Mustang GT TP, these seem close to the same. Tight and snug, just like I like....

I love the Recaro. I think the 6th gen SS seats were good and I like these even better. That said, they're a bit harder to get in and out of the vehicle because of the bolstering. They hug you from your legs to your shoulders. Race car cockpit feeling. I'm very very happy to have them!

Its a little harder to get in and out of due to the bolsters but I think the Recaros are more comfortable

I've now have owned both the 6th Gen SS and ZL1, and I agree with the Recaros being more comfortable and slightly harder to get in and out of. (The side skirts on the ZL1 also contribute to the added difficulty of getting in and out of the car.)

I did about 650 miles in one day in the Recaros driving my new ZL1 back from Pittsburgh. No aches. No pains. Incredible comfort. Ps. The car isn't half bad either.
