Power Steering Issue

Hello all,

it seems my power steering fluid from my left side has a leak. Found this when i was doing my oil change just the other day.
My steering has been acting weird, i noticed it is more rubbery/squeaky.

Should i use the stop leak liquid into the power steering fluid

if not

I am wondering if anyone knows if this is covered in the power train warranty?

Not sure if this is posted in the correct session, but any help would be appreciated

Thank You

IMHO any "stop leak" solution is a bad idea unless you're in the middle of no-where with the intention of replacing the component (radiator, pump,etc...) as soon as you get to civilization.

How many miles are on the car? I'm not sure, but I doubt this is covered under the power train warranty. Did you purchase from a dealer?

I think you're best shot is to go to your local dealer and hope for the best.

Is it coming from the pump or the O ring?

I had issues with my power steering this winter. There have seen return hose issues in extreme cold conditions before and fixed mine no problem. Could yours be cracked enough to just leak? Long shot though seeing it's under pressure.

Did they replace that under your power train warranty mate?
