Help. Copied this from FI section where I usually post someone sent me here.
"Stray Electrons returned. Normal Hot Humid FL Day yesterday. Car “cold” started Fine 15min ride. Shut Car off for a minute to drop something off, hard to turn over. Started up. No Tach,Service Stabilitrak On And Autometer HUD DashControl which uses the OBD PlugIn Not working. Get Car moved to a Parking Spot. Waited about 3-5 minutes Car cranked over a little better but would not start. Waited a few Hours Car started and Ran Fine No Issues Happened earlier this Summer thought it was a bad battery replaced and HAD ran fine since then. Thanks."
Would like to get this Issue fixed on own before shipping Car off to Builder to get ready for next 1/2 Event. They have enough to deal with lol
Thanks

Sounds like starter heat soak due to LTs. EZ and cheap fix to try first is adding a 2nd engine ground cable on drivers side block to frame as Leo72793 and many others have done with good results.

If you still have a hot starting problem after adding a 2nd engine ground then add a positive cable bypass to the underhood positive post to eliminate starter power draw loss due to resistance caused by the positive post sheet metal bracket ...see post64 in this thread
https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showt...8#post10107568
No one who added the positive bypass cable has ever reported hot starting problems again.

My SS did this yesterday while stopped at the gas station. Needed to get to work so I ended up driving the car about 2 more miles further to work while car was still in limp mode. Stabilitrak light and engine light was still on. Ran like shit. Keep in mind this has happened before but usually would start right back up after 2 minutes with no issue. I am guessing because I ran the car for the 2 miles this is why I actually threw a p0172 and p0175 code. Car started fine after work and when I got home I cleared light. The starter is wrapped and it is stock, but I have not added the ground cable. Ordered one last night and I will see if this truly does help.

Those codes really have nothing to do with hot start issues. you have fuel issue, being too rich on both sides, probably a very filthy filter, or REALLY bad injectors, or a poor tune that is too rich and the codes just came up.

Tune is by Ryan at GPI. I can assure you its not the tune. Car is a beast. Maybe, fouled up 02 sensor, injectors etc... I could definitely see it being fuel filter.
