Yep, year round in VT/NH. Did a road trip out to Utah this spring too. Car does great and no issues over the last 27k.

No, the car is far too annoying to deal with every day in regular situations.

I used mine as a daily for over a year, but marriage and home ownership happened so the 1LE went in the garage and my Tacoma went back on the road. I drive the 1LE once a week to work and every time I go race. I have a Miata that I used to autocross and now just goes for the random spin around the block because the 1LE and the Tacoma are more fun at autocross. Go figure lol.

I DD mine even through the winter. My winter driving is minimal as possible even with the winter tires installed. Work and back or perhaps the occasional road trip, but I try to minimize it to keep it away from the road salt/ice chunks as much as possible. For summer driving if I'm going a decent distance I'll take the Camaro, for those short out and back trips I take the other vehicle (Equinox) instead since it is technically our "grocery getter" .

i daily mine, it's really not the bad as a DD, although parking is always a careful process. The kids love the sound. Last weekend we encountered a good tunnel maybe 100 yards long. I slowed to about 20mph, rolled down the windows, grabbed 2nd gear, and let it loose! They giggled with delight!

I daily mine now and love it. I had a 2nd car last year but got rid of it to get my daughter a car.
I also only work 6mi from home but still drive other places a lot but no problems. But there is more stress of avoiding door dings and keeping it clean now that is is driven more.

Daily here...A/S in the winter but for the most part I don't have to work with snow all that much, I can wait it out half a day til the roads are basically plowed and clear. at best I call out from work for the day and stay home. Fresh snow on the ground forget about it. Otherwise it's all I have, I'll never have multiple vehicles. Really the worst in winter I have to contend with is freezing temps more than any other single factor which the Comp2 A/S works like a champ for me.
Though to add I was going to say that it's a 2-3 days out of the year that (winter) weather can keep me home but I do have to add that the SC3 will keep me off the highway in a rain storm. |

Mine is a daily AND my only car. I enjoy driving it every day. 13K miles in 11 mths thus far.
Even if I could afford a Porsche GT4 or GT3, I would daily them as well. Special cars like these (especially track specials) and just too fun to only drive every so often. I don't understand the mentality of buying a driver's car and letting it sit more than you drive it (unless required because of snow)

My 1LE used to be my daily but putting 2k miles a month on the car started to really stress me out. The wife and I added a 3rd car to the garage for winter (Cherokee Trailhawk) and I took over her Charger RT for crappy days. This spring I somehow managed to convince her we needed to replace the RT with a 392 so we did lol.....I still drive the Camaro a lot (even on dry winter days with cold weather tires) but if I'm being honest the charger has started to steal some of its daily driver duty. I share the same sentiment as many of you.....I just can't just walk by the 1LE without wanting to drive it. I'll never understand why people buy cars and don't drive them....meanwhile I'm over here with 45k miles and 14 track days in a little over 2 years lol

Everyone is different. One of the reasons I enjoy driving mine so much, is because I don’t drive it that often.
