Heck, for $600 I'll sell someone MY tune lol. It's mostly my own handiwork at this point. With of course the amazing help of the folks on this board. I guess I'll have to split it with a few of the folks who have been helping me

Just kidding. Would never charge for what I've learned.

I was under the impression a stock lt1's fuel system would be sufficient for most low 6-7psi boosted applications. On a properly tuned boosted lt1 wouldn't the car be able to pull enough timing to protect the motor from a excessive lean condition?

It would be a slug with no timing and lots of boost. some cars in AZ with 91 octane will have 10-11psi boost and like 9 degrees of timing.

Timing and fueling can not necessarily mitigate one another. It can to an extent, but a leaner than ideal burn is still going to be hot, regardless of timing. Timing can make it worse, but not better.

Bottom line is its at its limit. Doesnt take much to push it over the egde.

And when adding a complete LT4 fueling system and running 93? What can the best R-WHP results be (safely, without leaning out and without detonating) capping it at 8-8.5 PSI boost?
What lowest Injectors PW can be achieved at the best possible scenario with such setup?

P1x with full LT4 system shows 4.5ms ipw's .80 Lambda @ 9.5psi peak boost on 93 octane. Plenty of fuel but timing limited from lack of octane...10-12 degrees timing max. Dyno numbers are meaningless without a baseline but lets say 600whp.

Thanks King! As always, tons of wisdom and experience from your side

Now, if it would not be a Centri (I.E. P1X), but rather something like the stock Eaton LT4 1.7L Head Unit? Or similar PD unit for that matter...

Again, talking about pure 93 Pump petroleum (No E10 = Zero Ethanol), 8.5 PSI peak boost on the same LT4 fueling setup?
Would Ign. timing have to be retarded even lower than 11-12 Deg. ?

Talking ring gap...

If you order LT4 pistons and they do come with rings are they gapped correctly say 20 thou all ready for boost top and lower?

wife is wanting to run more boost and you may recall that my buddy had not 1 but 2 motors blow from MTI.. He gave me his lt4 crank, 4 rods, and 4 pistons and cam. I found 4 rods and pistons on ebay for 250 shipped. I'll only need 2 right side pistons. should have 220 dollars in pistons, 250 in used parts and machine work labor.

should be good motor to about 800 wheel.
