i don't think the auto cars benefit near as much as the stick cars do from the shorter tires. all of the calculators i found had the 275/40/17 tire as under 26". the auto has much more aggressive gearing down low, i think you'll need the bigger tire to maintain traction if you want to use first gear. i'd expect the bolt on auto car to run high 10s pretty easily in decent air.

I will take the 275s to the track one last time(hoping next weekend) with the 16 stick. Then only 305s

Seemed to work best when I brought the RPMs up to 1000 rpm or so, then mashed it. Yes I lowered the air pressure to 20 psi in the run flats.
