1le Replacement Pad Suggestions
Hi Gents,
21k miles on my 2020 SS 1le. Pads are about done. Looking for replacements with firmer pedal feel, dont want pad noise ( ive never heard any from stock brembo). Use for some track and daily/ canyon use. Any suggestions? Rotors look good, ill clean them up any reason to turn these? Thanks! |

Stock sounds like the best for your mix. They are Brembo after all, not too shabby a reputation for delivering performance.

OEM pads for sure. They are the best pick for 90% of the use cases out there.
Get stainless lines for dress up, they don't do anything for pedal feel. (and before the stainless line guys show up and torch me, I have Speigler's from KNS on my 1LE).

Hmmm, I had heard they did make for a stiffer pedal. I will have to go back and re-read.

Or if can tolerate more dust and/or noise, and don't mind $$, choose one of these. https://www.knsbrakes.com/c/car-item...eet+Brake+Pads |

My original OE pads were more than half done, and I replaced them with a new OE set, but now I’m only using that new set for the summer track season, I kept the original set for rest of the year. I figure this maximizes use by saving more of the first half for track use.

Carbon fiber lines (sold small-scale by a member here) and brembo fluid made a pretty noticeable improvement in firmness and feel for me.
