I have a couple Cane Corso. The male is the only dog that listens well. The female is pretty aggressive, which keeps people away from the house. My wife has a Great Dane that is dumber than his food bowl and my daughter has a pit/Presa Canario mix that is actually really sweet but stubborn as hell. Wife also has chickens, ducks and a few large lizards. She thinks she is Ellie Mae Clampet.

I also have a 16 month female cane corso. She loves people even strangers, but she hates other dogs. She would rip the souls out of them if we let her. We have her in training hopefully it helps. Also a old 11 year old Boston terrier.
She was not thrilled with her Halloween costume.

I had a female Presa Canario that look almost exactly like that, minus the costume of course. She had a mean streak but loved the family. My two year old daughter would lay on her belly and pull her nipple and she just let her. She would also hide behind the side of the garage and charge the fence when people walked there dogs by. It would have been funny, but she really scared the hell out of people. Couldn't get any other dogs until she passed. The neighbors dog dug under the back fence and she killed it, but I really loved that dog despite the mean streak.

Going on walks is always an adventure. Everyone in the neighborhood has a dog. You would think she was rabid if you saw her around other dogs. Holding back a 100lb tank is a workout. Even the shock collar doesn’t work when she is worked up. But then she is a gentle giant with my daughter, like you said she can do anything to her.

Yup, and people are clueless. They would just let their toy dog walk right up the fence and Dixie would be getting shocked trying to get at them. The only time anybody came in the yard was when people were partying at the foreclosed house next door and we called the cops. They figure they would walk through our yard to get away. They ended up running and jumping the fence just before she caught up to them.
