2.0T Misfire at idle
Hello all, Ive got a 2018 2.0T and Im misfiring while idle and idle only. The only other bit of info ive got to help is on my WOT log I had a cloud of black smoke come out of my exhaust. Ive changed my plugs sprayed 1 can of CRC GDI cleaner through the vacuum line. And ive done 1 bottle of lucas oil fuel injector cleaner. Stumped as to where to go next. Car is stage 1+ a recirculation valve, so I would assume getting it fixed under powertrain warranty is out of the question. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of misfire? Does your tach needle fluctuate? Did you find a solution?
My 2019 2.0 seems like it wants to conk out at idle. Tach fluctuates, oil pressure also fluctuates. It has conked all the way out twice. It seems worse if I have to brake hard. Also, this only seems to happen when it is cold or cooler temps outside. |

Hook up a scan tool and see what's going on. Also check fuel trims. |

Are you running the factory intake? If not, i would try it unless you have an intake specific tune.
