2022 likely the final model year for Wild Cherry and Satin Steel on Camaro.

Both are listed on my 2022 build out restrictions. Historically, that means that they are going away and will be replaced by new colors in 2023.

If you're a fan of those colors, you should probably try to order a 2022 on not wait for 2023.

I have a satin steel on order. Does that potentially mean it may be harder to get one built? I am concerned with the current restrictions. I may change to Riverside Blue.

looking at past posts it appears to be around the Feb to May timeframe if there is a new color

Final dealer allocation week for Satin Steel is 3/31/22. Last week of production is 5/9/22.

Wild Cherry is 3/3/22 and last week of production is 4/11/22.

I also have a Wild Cherry ZL1 1LE on order since August 28th. GM has not yet picked up the order and hoping mine is build before the 04/11/2022 end of production week for the color.

I'm sure there will be another metallic red/maroon color. I'm guessing that there will be another gray replacing Satin Steel. I'm really surprised that Shadow Gray isn't being cancelled instead. That color has been cancelled on almost every other model that it was available on so I was expecting to see it on the list instead of Satin Steel.

They need a true Midnight Blue in my opinion...

I feel like GM did enough blues for the Camaro. They need to bring exciting colors like they did before with Krypton Green, Shock Yellow, Rapid Blue, Hyper Blue, Orange Crush, Vivíd Orange & Shadow Grey. I think they should add Purple or something different to attract younger buyers. I’m burnt out on the yellow color too after seeing it so much on the 5th Gen!
