Des Moines IA shop recommendations

Hey guys.

So… picking up this 16 2SS with 17k miles tomorrow. Planning on modifying it in two stages. This year: headers, CAI and E85 tune.
Next summer: whipple, supporting fuel upgrades and anything else I find to be of value. I’m from WI so not familiar with shops down here.

Cheers 🍻

Thank you.

Do you have more info on your build? Basically my end game.

It's essentially Jannetty Racing's "super street brawler" package, slightly detuned for longevity and better traction with "normal" tires (~700 rwhp on 93 and ~735 rwhp on E60), wider wheels/tires, plus the BMR cradle bushing lockout kit for reducing lateral suspension movement in the rear. A couple small aero mods, too, side skirts, splitter, ZL1 spoiler, plus small interior enhancements.

Ted's tunes are spot on, the car is now the ultimate Jekyll and Hyde sleeper, I can still drive the missus around and cruise like in a stock SS, yet it's an absolute animal in sport/track mode when applying more serious throttle.

The build was done in stages, which is more expensive but more fun, too, it's like getting a new car every time . Safer too, than jumping from 390 rwhp to 730 in one go.

Only places I've really heard of are Karl Kustoms and Off the Line Performance.. I think Off the Line Performance is geared towards imports.
