$950? Ok dude. It was not expel. Ultimate plus the #10 year Xpel is stupid expensive. My ZL & Shelby R are both done. I had the entire car Shelby done w/ ceramic pro silver. There is so much prep work alone before the Xpel application. $950.00? They left something out

Helped build confidence they could do a Camaro. If you like exotics, check out their Instagram gallery:

Front end was done in stealth? So you have a mismatched car?

My Bay Area quote for suntek was over $8k for the entire car...I decided to wait and spend the $ on a whipple.

My Shelby Xpel was 5K just for the entire car. Ceramic pro was $600. That was also full coverage. Silver package 4 layers I think.

No I have a 1LE, which comes with a black matte hood around the CF engine cover. So they use stealth Xpel (transparent with matte finish) only on the OEM matte wrap to keep the matte look and allow the color to show through. Looks better than the OEM wrap by itself, less dry and highly stain repellent unlike the OEM wrap.

The CF cover and all blue painted parts of front end are done in standard clear Xpel

Fyi, I've been told Suntek is a high quality wrap, but not as thick as Xpel or 3M so not recommended if your goal is track protection.

Word. Very nice. I have seen the stealth in person. My friend has a ZL w/ the Matt black stripe option & they had to do the car in a few pieces.
Some in stealth & some in regular ultimate. When I had my ZL1
1LE the hood was already stained by wax or something from the dealer. Wrap surface is very delicate.

The rear diffuser? The satin black around the exhaust?

Xpel is 8 mill thick. Suntek paint protection sucks. I am just kidding.. As a Xpel stock holder I have to say that. Suntek is phenomenal. One could not go wrong either way. When I had my Anderson composites Carbon Fiber Spoler done it was covered w/ Suntek as I was in a rush. It has held up very well in the rain. Absolutely no water spots. Suntek has PPF surface that might be better than Xpel.

I’m doing my entire car in PPF, $4800 and that includes doing the Satin Hood, Front Lip, Side skirts, Mirrors and Rear diffuser in “Stealth”. I’ve been told by multiple Paint Protection shops “Do the entire car or don’t do it” because If you protect certain areas and eventually remove the film you’re going to have sun faded areas against non faded that were protected.

That old assumption has changed. Spec sheets for the top shelf films on their websites:

Xpel Ultimate Plus 7.6mil (0.194mm)
https://www.xpel.com/web-assets/down...S-TDS_V1.0.pdf

Suntek Ultra 8.0mil (mm not listed)
https://www.suntekfilms.com/Files/Su...PF%20Specs.pdf

3M SGPPF Pro 8.0 (0.203mm)

Ive had quotes for entire car that vary from 4750 to 6000.
Just really not sure if I should go with 3M, Xpel or Suntek.

I just had my complete front bumper done for $650. It was Suntek. I don't know if it was the shop or a much better job on the factory templates, but you cant see any seams unless you look really hard for them. It is a much better fitment than my Corvette with Expel.
