engine air filter
I'm closing in on 15K miles so I thought I would change the filter. I looked at the maintenance schedule - 45K miles! What?!?
What are you guys doing?

Some cars get their air filter dirty quickly, others do not. The Camaro6 appears to be in the latter category. I find this ironic given how dirty the engine bay gets, but then again, the filter is ducted to the front end, not the engine bay. For the guys that run Prochargers et al with an engine bay exposed filter, I bet theirs gets dirty in a hurry.
I changed mine at about 15k for the hell of it and the original one looked like it had the bulk of its serviceable life remaining.

And when it is replaced, what's the go to filter?
ACDelco? K&N drop in? Does Green make a filter that fits the Camaro? Just go ahead and do a Rotofab?

You don't want anything "oiled" as it will eventually gum the MAF.
The ACDelco filter is excellent.
