Fuel Gauge/Pump

Here's a potential new one. Lately, after I've filled up, the gauge only shows half, or a bit more. Over time, it would creep up, like something was gummed up. Took it in for service today and was told that they would replace the pump once it comes in.

The pump doesn’t even come with the float assembly.

There are 2 floats. With a scan tool you can monitor both of them and see if one of them is giving a faulty reading. Low volt reading is a full tank and high voltage reading is a low tank.

The day before I went in for the repair, the car started throwing P2068: Fuel Level Sensor B Circuit High. Also, the service writer was incorrect when he mentioned the pump. It was indeed a level sensor.
