Encountered the same issue - so far identified it only in the HVAC Pop-Up lower band of the screen.
Looking forward to seeing how this story develops.

Seems to me as a Firmware / Software related bug. Changing the Hardware (Tuner module / Radio) does not seem to be the remedy.
Especially it being an intermittent occurrence and continuing to those who had their hardware replaced at the dealer's.

leaving a track day on the weekend the event organizers ask everybody to leave "calmly" so the near by residential area doesn't complain. I ended up crawling into traffic nice and easy like because the car was stuck in loud mode.

Thought I was nuts before when I couldn't find it and simply glossed over it. Just wanting to play with the new tech I gave a huff and moved on. Finally convinced something was not right when I couldn't find it and actually had a reason to use it.

I bought a used 2016 2ss Auto, NPP. I have only had the car for 2 weeks and this has happened three times. I am stuck in stealth! (not cool). this latest time, I did not remote start but my son did open the pax door and sit down before I opened the drivers door. I shut down and restarted several times but the option has not returned.

Mine does it when I use remote start. Also, when you change fan speed or turn on or off AC the screen at the bottom is blank.
Only when started with remote so far.

If you are going to use Remote Start, just click the unlock button first. Then lock button, then Remote Start. Problem should not recur when following this sequence. Works 100% of the time and is a habit for me now...I don't even think about it anymore.

I have noticed a difference with the 2 key FOBS.
Key FOB 1:if I use it to start the car, driving mode will be there.
Key FOB 2:if I start the car with it, driving mode isn't there.

Like 2 is locked out of some features. Probably intentional---

My engine management button continues to go missing from the infotainment system usually when the passenger door is opened before the drivers (when car is unlocked) or when I do a remote start. This was happening before I was having other problems with the infotainment screen that the dealer replaced. Could it be a bad HMI module? They only replaced the screen itself before.

Any update on a recall or factory TSB? Is this covered under warranty? My 2016 2SS M6 loses the "driving mode" options every once in a while which is very frustrating. No remote start since its a manual, not sure why. shutting the car off until the head unit goes to sleep and restarting seems to work. thanks

I have had this happen to me recently with the exhaust stuck in quiet mode(6MT). A day later the menu popped back up, ok cool.

I can hear the car idle is louder but now the cracks and pops are not there and if they are at about 30mph they are very feint. Anyone else experience this too?
