Really doesn't make sense since thousands of people see it every time you take the car out for a drive. What's the difference?

Y'all do know most LE vehicles have tag readers in them nowadays. We got them the last 2 years I was active. Just ride around, scan the tag, tells you all you want to know about the owner of the vehicle. Just an example. Covering your tag in a photo ain't accomplishing jack shit.

Tag readers are only a time saver. LE and DMV employees have always had access to tag info. That's not the point here. Posting your tag online ties that tag to an online identity. It adds one more clue to who owns that identity.

If I wanted everyone to know who I was when I post, I'd simply use my real name.

The fact that LEOs have plate readers and no restrictions on how they use the information is troubling.

Americans who love liberty should be concerned.

For those that have to display front plates, blocking them out is a pleasure.
Doesn’t hurt so why not?

This is the world we live in these days. People dont have a filter because they are staring at words and not the actual person. It's everywhere. For me, I would block my plate if I ever decided to post a pic of one of my cars.
