New rear tail lights - Page 18

Just purchased mine yesterday from Alibaba, I originally ordered them from Next Gen Speed but I waited over a month and they never shipped. Plus the ones on Alibaba were $100 cheaper. I'll post pictures once I get them in.

I just got these today and put them in. Problem is when the brake is pushed the turn signals come on first and then the brake light. That can’t be right. Other than that they work fine. I got mine through next gen speed and it took almost 2 months to get them.

Well I reached out to next gen speed who says that’s how they work. I don’t see why they are designed that way though. For instance if I have my left turn signal on and I push the brake to come to a stop, the right turn signal will come on one time and then the brake lights. Wouldn’t that seem confusing to someone behind you? Plus it doesn’t look right. So I am actually disappointed about this. I never saw any video show the brake lights being pressed (only still images) so I never knew this was the case.

Hi, This is my first messages on this wonderful forum.
Driver of an yellow 2SS with ZL1 1LE bodykit and SS badging.

I got these lights from Aliexpress, and I have the same issue. Had a conversation with the seller and producer Vland and this is how they produce them. I asked for a way to split the feed to the indicator when braking and they don't know.
They are cool looking lights and should be stock but with every time braking that the hazard light come on is waiting for a fine.

If someone knows how to resolve this please let it know or if there are lights that don't have this function.

i think its the difference between the European and the global (US) spec models, as the US spec has switchback function on the brake lights.

I have requested the schematic of their setup as it can be resolved by rewiring the connectors.

Nope, they dont. I bought from ali. Next gen is just a reseller from a profit. They buy from Ali and ship it to your house. Thats why it took 2 months.
