*laughs* will let you know how it goes, and may even post a couple of pictures. Of course this all depends on me being able to roll them up from the basement, won’t be posting that video, tuff to get old.
This is the same wheel and tire set up that I have for my winter time use. I’ve done some spirited mountain driving with them and they felt pretty good.

So on the M716, you got a 10 on the front and an 11 on the back? Is there any particular reason you didn't go with the 10 on the back as well? Do you have the 23 offset in the front and the 38 offset in the back? Would the 10 inchers with the 23 offest work in the back? If so, I like the fact that they could be rotated.

Oops! I need to clarify. Exact same set up EXCEPT I went with the non run-flat, or “ZP”. Also, should I have a track day event in cold temps or rain, I will use this set up instead. As for tire marbles flinging, I just completed a track event yesterday at Atlanta Motorsports Park with the OEM set. Though they got hot and sticky, there was no flinging when I drove on them home from the track. Seems to be a good way to clean them up after an event as well.

*laughs* I thought about saying thanks, your post gave me the direction, but living in Michigan, think I’ll wait until January to hand out any kudos.

Just got my 2017 SS 1LE, live in Northern Ohio and wanted to drive it on sunny days in winter, when possible. Reading all your posts and been searching every tire site. 305's are hard to come by in an "all season" tire. Was wondering if I could run 285's all the way around on the stock rims? If so, would go with the Continental DWS?

I got a thread in the wheel section on this.

Most people run BFG Comp 2 A/S 285/35/20 squared. Don’t need a relocation in the rear for that.

Any of these in the test will work great for all seasons. Size selection is not the best.

I have the EXTREMECONTACT DWS 06 on my DD and they work great in the wet.

Thanks for the info. Going to run 285s all the way around, get some rims for track day and put the supercars on them. Then I will be asked "Why are tires stacked up in the corner of the garage?"

lol
Right now I have a set of wheels, and a set of wheels and tires for a C6 I no longer own.
I have a set of ZL1 wheels and tires for the 1LE to be used with season tires.
The summer wheels and tires for the wife's RX330.
The summer wheels and tires for her Camry.
So five stacks of wheels and all three cars have a set installed.

Two stacks in the "rec room", two stacks in the garage, and a set out next to the shed.

I may have a problem.

Beware...some brands of tires can rub a 285/35 on the front. Running square is overrated like you're going to rotate that 11" rear to the front, rotation is the only reason to run square...come on.

Run a 275/35 on the front and a 285/35 on the rear and be done with it.

Oh boy, so many possibilities, this seems like good idea too.

Looks GREAT!
Can you provide input on how the car handles/feels?
I think if you don't track the car and it's your daily driver, this would be the ideal street set-up on a SS 1LE or a ZL1.
Thanks,
