Thank you guys. Ordering the dif and manual trans fluids online. Dif is no problem, but the manual tranny on the v6 calls specifically for gear oil 75 90, while v8 m6 calls for trans fluid. Weird.
I ran Mobil1 trans fluid in my 1LE. Wonder if I can just do the same here.

Figured it out. Royal Purple max gear fluid will work in trans and diff. Aisin 6speed runs on gear oil

Nice looking car you absolutely stoled it.
Good call and something I may think about in the future a currently drive a 2018 Mustang GT premium with the 6 speed and it's a lot of car for a bumper to bumper |

Came home after work and changed the trans and diff fluids. set for now, just looking for tires (hopefully a set of wheels and tires with low miles). Then I’ll be all set. So far, all smiles. Happy to be back in a 5th gen

It is up to you, but you live in Michigan. The winters (salt, sand & cinders) are going to chew that paint up all over again if you go through with the paint correction. If it were me, I'd buy a good set of Blizzaks and run the thing until it quits.
Best of luck!

I know what you mean, but I have the wife's Tahoe for the worst months (although sacrificing a 40k truck to save a 8k car is not the smart thing to do lol). This one is definitely a driver, but I do want to clean it up once then we'll see where it goes.
Nice GS btw. Carlisle's coming up, I'm hauling mine out there this year again (assuming your state doesn't try to kill that show in August again. They tired and gave up a couple weeks ago with a couple other Carlisle events). Take your vette and go if you get a chance. I've been there last 4 years in a row, it's a lot of fun.

Put about 4.5 hours into the front end. Paint is beautiful underneath. Just needed some TLC. Done for today. Time to go drive and enjoy it

Turned out to be a good day for the RS. I was able to pick up a set of 2018 SS wheels/GY F1 tires for it for $750. Installed the new end links and wheels. Now it’s all set
