We’re all doing good - Thanks for asking! Florida is starting to reopen. Restaurants are at 25% capacity inside and tables outside have to be 6 feet apart. My wife and I went a restaurant on the St. John’s River yesterday for lunch. I had the Low Country Boil

Congrats! Retirement rocks.

I was planning on Gettysburg and Antietam at the end of May. That is likely going to be a miss. I was looking at Rte. 66 in September. I may move that up, if things are open. I need a little cooler temps for walking the hallowed ground (I really enjoy walking those fields).

Alaska was set for 2021. I am driving. I have a Ridgeline and I think that will do fine and offer a little bit more capabilities for this effort.
Sounds like a good plan

Looks yummy! My daughter is a manager at Ruby Tuesday in Tallahassee. It has been rough on Restaurants & their staff during this time & continues to be stressful. Thanks for supporting the industry.

As for me, we are doing fine. My surgery is scheduled for the 29th this month & I am getting anxious about it. I have more pre-op appointments between now & then including COVID testing. No one can be with me in the hospital which adds to the anxiety. Send good vibes/prayers.

BLU DUCE, Just lots of MD appointments & hanging out at home. We went & looked at a truck today (we do this occasionally). It was a 2017 loaded Nissan Titan 4X4 with a good price on it. Mike is getting anxious about hanging on to my dad's 2002 GMC pick-up much longer. Even considered trading in Ruby along with the truck but they seriously lowballed us on trade-in value for both vehicles. I thought dealerships would be more motivated to sell at this point but I guess not. I never thought I'd consider selling Ruby but the thrill is just not the same anymore. I posted up a thread in the sellers section here just to see interest. I probably won't do it but if I did sell her, I'd much rather her go to someone who would appreciate & care for her as she deserves.

I may have but don't remember if I have seen it. I'm sure it is nice.

My dad's truck is getting close to having 100K miles on it. We have had a couple other vehicles of this generation & at about that point they start needing big repairs like water pump, fuel pump, etc & this one needs shocks & springs, is pretty rusty underneath, running boards rusted & had to be removed so it is hard to get into, etc. The engine is good & it was pretty well cared for when Dad had it & since we have had it but it sat idle a lot & was pretty beat on by my nephews while Dad was in assisted living. Just worried & need something reliable. Really hate to let it go though. Daddy LOVED that truck.

I streched the picture to get a closer look. But I think the truck good for its age. What year is it?

Oh yeah, I remember seeing pics of this truck. Veeeeery nice.

Yeah, the truck in many ways is in good shape for it's age. My dad was a mechanic as was my hubby, and my sister's hubby too who cared for it while it sat at my parents old house while dad was in assisted living for 5 years. But like I said, we need reliability. Mike is scared for me to drive it more than just around town. He had a Yukon of the same generation that died on us several years ago in the middle of Smoky Mountains National park with fuel pump failure. Little reception, had to walk to call a tow truck then got towed to Deliverance country. The good Ol' boys took care of it but not a good experience. That was just one of the issues we had with it. There are a number of other known issues with these trucks as well. Additionally, it is hard to maneuver and we are not as good at backing it like we used to be. We need something with all the bells & whistles like front & rear sensors, side warnings, back-up cameras, accident avoidance braking, etc. AND easier to get in & out of but still 4WD. We will likely wait for a while until we are well past my surgery & all this COVID crap to do anything.

I thought you might have seen my truck before. Well what ever you do with the truck. Good Luck

Bump! Tomorrow is prep day for my surgery, surgery on Friday. Boy do I dread this crap but is needs to get done. I have just been so uncomfortable lately & tired of it. I just want it to all be over. Anyone got a time machine? Anyway, keep me in your thoughts & prayers. Old bodies don't heal like when we were young.

Ruby, I hope you feeling better today. Your right these old bodies do not heal as fast as they did when we were younger. Anyway check in with us when you feel like letting us know how your doing. Take care
