Anderson Composites is only finished on the top and the bottom is raw resin globs painted flat black. The third company that will remain nameless, made a nice set except upon close examination the carbon fiber is cut short at the edges. You can see the cut line. I ended up using the Trufiber set but had my friends body shop fill in the holes with tinted Fiberglass resin and re-clear them. I also had them add in a flex agent to help with durability. The way the canards are mounted on the car, the underside is exposed on the almost vertical section. This lets you easily see the hole or raw resin from standing near the side of the car. Out of the three I would recommend Trufiber. The Trufiber set also seamed to have a more accurate and robust set of mounting tabs. The two lower tabs are a nice piece of steel rather that just some molded tabs. Everyone at all three companies were very nice. My only issues was with Anderson Composites. I called them to verify the overall finish of the canards and even asked about the finish of the back side before purchasing. Upon arrival I was very disappointed that what they told me was clearly not the case. For the product they provided, they are way over priced in my own personal opinion. I’m not trying to bash them, this was just my personal experience. Please note that my requirements for quality and fit/finish are probably higher than your average customer. The first picture is of the holes in the Trufiber. The second is the no-name company with the carbon fiber cut short. I don’t have a picture of the Anderson Composites canards as I only half unpacked one canard and put it right back in the box.
Thanks for the write-up!

Isn't it a bit too much, though? Or one can never get enough CF ? Interesting that you didn't replace the shift knob with the CF GM accessory, I think it would complement this new look much better than the original brushed aluminum part.

Thought about it, but I didn’t really like the look of the one I saw. Kinda looked like a blister. Still waiting on the trim for the nav screen and might add a piece around the start button.

Beautiful dude, I have the same one, just watch those corners, I had to put some clear bra on the ends because it was making slight contact with the paint.

I installed the Gen5DIY LED Reverse Light harness last night with LED reverse and license plate lights. I know its a little thing but I am super stoked. It always bothers me when a nice car with crisp bright LED/HID lights all around has bland, yellow halogen reverse and/or license plate lights.
