Got an absolute steal today! Drove 3.5 hours down to NY to pick up an Anderson Composites AZ hood for $1000. Test fitted and going in for paint tomorrow and then i should have some updated pics at the end of the week.

Holy crap. Explain more about that acrylic sealer and your process, including any paint correction or anything, please.

The car was built in 4/19 so I didn't have to do any correction for scratches etc. Probably should have clay barred it but didn't. Anyway, it is old school. I used Klasse All in One for a base layer, then a layer of Klasse acrylic sealer every 24 hrs after it hardened for 5 days. This stuff has been around forever. Probably inferior to ceramic and other new products but I had this stuff around for years so I used it. I gave the same treatment to my Mustang 6 years ago, a daily driver (year-round) and it still looks awesome. I don't wash it with harsh detergents that will remove it

Had to take my wife's Envoy to the shop and so we had to be able to transport the granddaughter in the Camaro. Worked out pretty good. It's very easy to put her in and out, just lower the top. It's a good thing my wife is short because the passenger seat was pretty far up.

Just finished:

1. Re-installing OEM headers (Kooks w/ offroad connections are way too loud for Germany)
2. Installing Powell YYZv2 springs
3. Installed my "winter" set of wheels/tires to give my RE71Rs a break

I checked the alignment with a string setup, and it's close enough to drive around and put some miles on to let the springs settle a bit. I still need to get a full alignment.
