Finally have the time to upload some pictures of this wonderful addition! I installed the Borla S-Type Axle-Back setup and I love it!

Really deepens the sound of my V6 on startup and idle, and it's exactly as loud as it should be on the get up 'n go! In 6th gear at 60 there is no drone to speak of, but I do encounter some drone at 70 (which is pretty frequently because of Texas speed limits). It seems that a drop to 5th gear will push it to almost 3000 and out of the drone range, but at that point the engine is loud enough that it kills me to keep it there for too long.

An easy fix to the slight drone is a nice conversation with a passenger or a small clockwise turn of the radio volume, it's seriously that quiet.

After trashing my garage, I found that the install was a learning experience to swap the diffuser from a dual to a quad tip but once you figure out how to properly remove the part installing a new one is a breeze.

Also took it to the local dealership for its first oil change. They had the new Mobil 1 0w-40 ESP and they used that for this oil change, one of the 2 free ones. The parts department also had the Mobil1 0w-40-marked oil caps, so I picked one up and replaced the stock 5w-30 marked one. Brought the car home and changed the gear oil too. All broken-in and ready to have fun!

What’s the part number of the oil cap?

Dealers in my area still dont have the 0W 40. Said it doesnt apply to Canaros yet... wtf I do my own oil changes but cant find it in stores either. Looks like I'll just order it online.

I did this on my RS and have no drone. Maybe double check that a hanger or something isn't off just a hair to cause it.

I have always wanted a Borla and love it. I do put my foot in it to get the sound from time to time but when a straight pipe crackler lights it up next to me to be all badass I just hold up my phone and let him know I can still use it in mine lol. Had an 01 Mustang GT with a Magnaflow Magnapack system in it (long glass packs basically) I swear I lost brain cells between 2450 and 2600rpm.
