got mine on over the weekend installation was super easy especially with the instructions supplied sounds and looks wicked!

Not sure if anybody else has had this problem with the product... just something to keep an eye on. Mine broke where the breather plugs into... that whole piece cracked around where it connects to the intake tube and straight up fell off when I pulled it off the car. I had one of the first ones off the line though and AFE handled it very well. Shipped a new tube to me immediately with a prepaid sticker to ship the old one back. I am very impressed with how they handled it I just hope it doesn't happen again. I probably had about 3500 miles on the intake.

Yah I thought about posting pics of it man but honestly AFE handled the manner so well I didn't really see a reason too. I just really hope it doesn't happen again! would be aggravating to have such an expensive and nice looking piece have this little flaw. I love it still lol and if it breaks again I will just let them know lol

Hi, do you still running this intake? Can I get some reviews or clips abt the sound?

Yes I still run the intake, sounds good and provided as advertised power gains. There is a video of my car with both stock dyno and after install dyno on YouTube. Same name as my Camaro6 Name. 2018 SS 1LE. I would recommend it and AFE is a good company.

do you have to disconnect battery b4 the install?

I really hate to bump this really old thread but I'm debating on the Roto-Fab and this intake for my 23 2SS convertible. Does anyone have more info on it? Not really impressed with the winter/summer pulls the manufacturer ran. Between the blue filter and the carbon I am drawn to this one. Hell I even debated getting the Roto-Fab and picking up the AFE filter that fits the Roto-Fab so it's blue lol

CAI, any of them are only about looks and sound. Performance is rather neglible on a stock car. They're all the same that way. Until you get in boost and tuning, there's really very little to be had as far as performance or HP/Tq numbers that actually mean anything.

Well the one I really like the most is the CAI elite carbon but who wants to pull the whole tube everytime you need to clean/replace the filter. Awesome looks but a maintenance headache.
