Seems that a lot of people are getting great ET's launching at idle. Did you leave the line under half throttle?

Awesome mph. Actually one has already run 118 and another 117. Yes the 40 degree temps made a big difference in the mph with all that killer air entering the intake. Both the high mph that he's right there with were both A8's. My 12.04@115.83 w/1.79 60ft was pretty good, so if your 60 ft would have been even mid 1.80's you'd been around a 12 flat so great pass. Get it now cause once it warms up this will all change. My runs were in the upper 60 degree temps. So, get the 60 ft down and your there and yes I left right off idle.

WOW!!! That trap speed is HUGE!!!! Makes me even happier I'm getting a 6 speed, doesn't look like I'd be leaving a whole bunch of potential performance on the table. Very close to the higher C7 trap speeds, some of those have trapped in the 119mph range. Your car is running strong, that's for sure.

Looks a lot like one of my a gen5 ZL1 runs. Slow off the line 2.059 60', 118 mph trap with low 12 ET.

OP's slip posted here.

Yup, basically identical. Amazing what shaving off some weight can do.

The initial performance numbers of the gen6 SS were eye opening and they've been consistent over time. I believe I could be happy with a stock 2SS (with GM CAI/tune) as a driver and not want to mod it. Economical(ish) as a daily, plenty to play with on the weekends and great ergonomics. Can't wait to get mine

His trap speed is consistent with others that have run in cold dry air. Great runs! Congrats!

His traps speeds are consistent with the poster above ZL1 most noted from the 1/8th on. When your car back halves like a forced induction car (27mph from the 660) its strong as shit. Absolutly one of the strongest 6th gens to date. Early on in the LS game nobody picked up 27mph without hitting it with a small shot this goes to show how this LT1 performs I love it.

Also, this is one of the few manual owners to run their car so far. So lots of the other slips are autos...that could explain the higher speeds gained.

Wow, idle with a manual? If you would have come out harder, an 11 would have been cake.

You need to post that slip in the V8 1/4 mile fast list asap...we need more manual cars over there.

With autos yes, not the norm for manuals...this car would be easily a two tenths quicker with a stronger launch.
