7" IOB with Factory Amp Wiring Diagram
Does anyone have the schematics or diagram for the IOB 7" MYLINK with the factory Amp in the trunk it's non Bose. I installed a new radio but no sound is coming out of the speakers. I suspect the Amp isn't being turned on but I'm not sure. The radio is a plu and play and so far I can't get any sound out of it.

I downloaded schematics for 2022 but not sure if it's the same for 2018. I got access from ACDelcoTDS and just paid for a day or two. Once in, you can "print to PDF" anything you find. That is how I built up a collection of schematics and instructions for disassembly. I'll shoot you a PM with what I have.

You may have to foot a few bucks for ACDelcoTDS for your exact vehicle.

See the attachment. That's for the "mid-level" radio with six speakers and the non-Bose amp in the trunk, no nav. They don't label the schematics with "IOx," so I'm not 100% sure this is the right one.

No could never figure out why the chimes don't work. I used d the factory wire harness up front under foot well. There's two of them connected them to my aftermarket stereo but no door chime or turn signal sound. It's weird because the Amp is in charge of the factory sounds. The audio all works but no factory warning chime or turn signal sound.

So the radio basically works? That is something at least. It sounds like you have just bypassed the factory communication bus. At some level that is probably OK, unless the screen accesses factory settings that you need to adjust. I am trying to think of some, but all I can think of is the fake engine noise control. Probably vehicle settings for stuff with the door locks and stuff too.

It's actually using a CANBUS so the factory wiring was still retained as well as On Star. The only thing I lost was the audible chime for the door. It actually shows which door is open on my radio display but no sound and no sound for turn signal. I'm guessing it bypasses the ACN and if I read correctly in the schematics, the ACN is linked to the amplifier which is in charge of the chime sounds but the ACN and the chime sounds are integrated into one circuit.
