1/8 mile pass and calculated 1/4 mile ET

No 1/4 mile passes allowed due to stiff cross winds during my last test and tune visit at New England Dragway. I calculated 1/4 mile ET based on my last 1/4 mile pass in May and this 1/8 mile pass 2 weeks ago. I think my calculations hold water and welcome other thoughts also.

1/4 mile pass 1/8 mile pass difference
60 ft- 1.791 1.680 .11
330 ft- 4.959 4.838 .12
660 ft 7.532 7.399 .13
1/8 mph 96.08 96.22 .14
1/4 ET 11.606
1/4 MPH 120.79

I subtracted the .13 quicker 1/8 mile ET from the prior 11.606 1/4 ET = 11.47 and added the higher 1/8 MPH to the prior 1/4 mph .14 mph = 120.91

Yes that likely would have been in the 11.4s, meaning you should have a race jacket.

Thank you, I wonder how well that is enforced at the tracks? Probably get a warning after a couple of passes in the 11.40s and they know you do not have a jacket.

Seems that I already told you about this before?

Anyway I have seen the jacket rule enforced multiple times at Epping. Yes enforcement of rules can vary, even at the same track, but SFI 3.2A/1 jackets are not expensive, smart thing is get one.
