Time slips 1st/2nd pass LS Fest 2022 10.34@135/compare 2017

So we had a great first pass and even I as long as I've been racing messed up and left the traction control on and it pulled 10 degrees of timing and we still ran 10.34@135 w/60 ft if 1.50. I'll post after next pass.

Spun the tires like crazy and had to let off then back in it. Old man mistake, just traction control off for Saturday Qualifying in Street King. Fast class all the way down to some low 8 second cars.

So take a look at this from my facebook memories from 2017. My old car at this time had big bore pump, Lt4 injectors, Ms 109 race fuel, meth and water,
Hoosier drag pack, (100 lbs less then stock), 103 mm tb.

Thanks, second pass was not good as I turned everything off and it spun the tires bad and started to wheel hop a little so I let out and back in and ran 11.33@129. Won't do that again. One more run today and then qualifying tomorrow for Street King. Supposed to rain in the morning.

Good job. Not bad considering you don’t even know what the car was gonna do with the the new setup. Hopefully the track gets better and you run a 9 second pass.

Can't help noticing how nicely your first slip illustrates the link between 60-ft and ET, the other car seemingly made the same amount of power, but its +0.2s 60-ft turned into an ET 0.4s slower.

I think it will run really close to 9s with great DA and good temps. I'd say 10.10s would be close.

Good catch. He was up against the Rev Limiter on a couple gears. He's fastest pass all weekend was 10.50s

Take a look at my first post, comparing my 2017 LS Fest with my old Camaro. Similar mods but 100 lbs lighter. Bigger TB, Big bore pump, Lt4 injectors, Meth/water, Race Fuel and Hoosier Drag Pack. My new car is still faster by just a bit.

Potential 9.90 with just a drag pack and trans tune
Had to say it.

I think its possible but want to see how fast I can go just like it sits. We may have to work on the launch some more but won't know till next month when I get back to the track. Should be much cooler and DA should be way lower then 2700 we ran in at the Fest.

To think 15 years ago having reliable big power like this with stock manners was almost impossible
